ATEEZ Theories

Clowdydash

Hello Atiny, this is Clowdydash (@Clowdydash14 on twt) I'm presenting you my ATEEZ Theory. I've posted multiple theories on Twitter but I made a carrd to compile and organise all of them :)

ATEEZ’s universe explores how identity is affected by ambition displayed as the conflict between ATEEZ and Hala-teez.

Hala-teez are ATEEZ’s dark alter-egos who are consumed by ambition and will do anything to attain the treasure whether or not it negatively affects others. They see themselves as Gods and want to make a difference in the world whether it be for the better or worse, as long as it benefits them as seen in the lyrics “Will change, Just like the gods” (TREASURE: EP.2: Zero to One, HALA HALA). ATEEZ, on the other hand, only want to find the treasure without any conflict declaring in the lyrics ‘We don’t want no trouble, just moving forward’ (TREASURE EP.2: Zero To One, Say my Name). Though contrary to popular belief, both sides aren’t entirely good or bad.

DISCLAIMERS:

I will be constantly updating and changing theories in this carrd.
The storyline can be interpreted in MANY different ways depending on the perspective of the audience leaving the actual events of the storyline up to debate as the members nor the company have neither denied nor confirmed many theories.
Also, this is gonna very long ;)

ZERO : FEVER P.1 (INCEPTION + DIARY FILM)

The title track of ‘Zero: Fever Part.1’ is ‘Inception’ which is defined as “the establishment or starting point of an institution or activity”; the origin, the word also refers to the 2010 movie ‘Inception’ which revolves around the story of a male protagonist who travels into people's dreams to implant information or spy on them. The plot of the movie heavily reflects upon the events during ‘Zero: Fever Part.1’, especially through Hongjoong's use of the hourglass, also known as the Cromer (Diary Booklet).

The narrator starts by stating in the Diary Film that the universe has split into 8 dimensions again, representing the 8 members. Additionally, it's important to mention that these worlds are PARALLEL dimensions, as confirmed by Seonghwa in the Twitter blue room. It is unknown why/how the universe split at this moment. But what we do know is that due to the split, the universe fell into an endless time loop displayed in the line “The Mobius band that turned the wrong fate into infinity” (ZERO: FEVER PT.1, Good Lil Boy). The Mobius band is a symbol of unity and non-duality, which explains why they are in a loop because Hala-teez and ATEEZ haven’t yet realized that to break the loop they must set aside their differences and work together. According to 'Fever Road' the Cromer has two main abilities: When the crescent moon rises the user gains the abilities to contact people in their dreams (for a limited amount of time) though when the full moon rises the user can travel through dimensions. Hala-HJ said that the Cromer is the key to connecting the world; reuniting the universe.

Members situations in the Diary Film:

Hongjoong see ATEEZ as his only family as his original family doesn't seem to be part of his life anymore. As the leader, he received the Cromer from Hala-HJ who helps Hongjoong rekindle his shared dream with the rest of ATEEZ claiming that "You lost your dream, not because of the tough reality, but because you guys decided to"
Seonghwa wants to try multiple things but in turn, he limits his own freedom confining himself to his tasks. But it changes when he sees the girl dancing freely his perception of music changed and the event of that day forever lingered in his memories.
Wooyoung suffers from stage fright, struggling to show his talents to others but through ATEEZ’s support (Specifically Hongjoong, Seonghwa and Yunho), he was able to pass those boundaries.
Yeosang's parents controlled each and every moment of his life. He has a strange habit of disassembling and reassembling appliances, through the habit he met ATEEZ. He says he would normally run away from those type boy's, most likely due to the fact that he goes to a different school as the other ATEEZer's. He started to pursue music but not to the extent he wanted to, as he described ‘like a bird in a cage’ although the bird is able to fly but only with the confines of the cage. He meets ATEEZ and uses them as an outlet to truly pursue his passion for music. It was probably Yeosang's fault as to why the warehouse shut down, the Dairy Film suggests that he comes from a fortunate family meaning that his parents, in an attempt to stop Yeosang from going back that warehouse, used their power to shut it down judging by the quote "If I back out everything will be back to normal, the scattered members and the stolen hideout. I'm sorry guys".
Yunho feels guilty and trauma from an event which happened to his brother (most likely putting him in a coma, "You must wake up from the long hibernation"), leading to his brother not being able to fulfil his dreams. Yunho feels the need to pursue his brother’s dreams in respect and to rid this feeling of guilt. But along the way, he meets ATEEZ and decides not only to follow music for his brother’s sake but also for himself. He compares his brother to Hongjoong, someone he can look up to "I admire on both artistic and humane level".
San is constantly moving which causes him to not make any friends knowing that he wouldn’t spend a lot of time at that particular place. But San makes his first friends who are ATEEZ but when he has to move he decides to stay with ATEEZ.
Jongho is unable to pursue his dreams of basketball due to his injury. Due to this fact, he's been barely holding on to his anger describing his feeling as "Everything inside me was lifeless, as good as being dead". Mingi said "he would quite, that their dream was a luxury, and that the time they spent together meant nothing to him" causing Jongho's anger to erupt targetted at Mingi even though the group lost Mingi, the event caused Jongho to start dreaming again. But in 'Fever Road' Yunho comforts Jongho causing him to save Mingi from something, re-kindling their friendship.
Mingi's situation is different from the others, the other members are longing to come back together while Mingi instigated the rift between the group. Mingi isn't afraid of death and intentionally isolates himself using music to block out anyone or anything. But Wooyoung manages to surpass those boundaries and befriend him. Additionally, he has sudden outbursts of violence but he breaks out of his intimating persona when he’s around ATEEZ sharing his passion for music rather than using it to isolate himself. But his upbringing made him think "Can I really have a dream? Will it not be taken away from me?".
The ‘Inception’ MV reflects how Hongjoong uses the Cromer by flipping it, he stated that the sand started flowing up as the members enter the warehouse all sharing the same confused expression as Hongjoong.

Hongjoong, Seonghwa and Jongho have fire in their scenes symbolising how they literally went from All to Zero, throwing ALL they knew away to start (Inception) their new journey as ATEEZ quite literally at ZERO. Additionally the name of the reality show, 'Fever Road', refers to the journey they're about to take. Jumanji reference is used to symbolise how once they start there's no going back, in the show there 8 puzzle pieces to be found symbolising the dreams of the 8 members as said by Yunho in the quote "You have just found a puzzle piece to open a new world" 'new world' referring to the member's dreams (also this may be a 'ONE PIECE' reference as 'new world' is a place in the anime and the plot revolves around finding the One Piece treasure). The line "A new world would be opened when everyone arrives at the end of the road" refers to when Hongjoong used the Cromer to contact the other 7 members in their dreams at the end of 'Diary Film'.

ZERO : FEVER P.2

The setting the MV is one of the 8 alternate universe's mentioned back in the Diary Film, this is proved by Yeosang saying "Everyone says this is a new world but somehow, I'm familiar with the scenery here". 'Fireworks' directly follows up to the events at the end of 'Fever Pt.1' were Hongjoong attempts to use the dream contact function of the Cromer, but ATEEZ actually get teleported into another dimension. This dimension is called 'Strictland' which can be seen written on the train in the MV (before the 2nd Verse). It's displayed as dystopian world containing visuals such as a dead tree, a dessert and a destroyed city additionally specified as the 'grey city' in 'Take Me Home'. The information in the Diary album suggests that ATEEZ were transported into a mysterious bunker which was similar to their warehouse in their world, portraying the possibility that Strictland may be an alternate dimension/ timeline to ATEEZ's world. Following this event, white-clad giants attempted to steal the Cromer however Hongjoong distracts them, permitting ATEEZ to escape the bunker safely. These white-clad giants are the same white figures seen in the 'Fireworks' and 'Answer' MV finally solving the mystery of what/who these things are.

ATEEZ escape into the woods and the giants attack them while they were resting causing Wooyoung to get injured and the giants are now in possession of the Cromer. The white-clad giants left straight after they got the Cromer simultaneously allowing ATEEZ to escape into a near by cave were a young girl gestured for them to come inside.

However the girl couldn't talk as the giants stole her voice, explained by the girl's brother; both of them known as the Grimes siblings.

The Grimes siblings explained the current state of their world to ATEEZ:

In this world the central government put blame on human emotion for the cause of crime and terrorism. This subsequently led them to establish a policy for the entire human race by running AI simulations to lower/ completely eradicate the variable of human emotions. These AI simulations resulted in the creation of these white-clad giant who act as almost a police/ military body to enforce these laws. One of the methods the government in this world used to oppress human emotions is to bans the arts (dancing, music, art) which greatly impacted the human race.

The central government achieved higher growth due to this policy, however through time efficiency and logic became the sole priority of the world. However, men wearing black fedora's (Hala-teez) began to appear performing which attracted many, breaking them from the control of the government by stimulating the emotions. These people soon formed a resistance named the 'Black Pirates'. The central government tried time and time again to imprison Hala-teez and stop their revolution but failed numerous times as they used the power of the cromer to teleport. Until the invention of the white-clad giants enabled them to finally capture and imprison them.

to find the Cromer ATEEZ were informed by the siblings to seek out the advice of a man named Left Eye who apparently knew the location of the Android Bunker, where the Cromer was taken. Additionally, ATEEZ chose to find the girl's voice which was said to be in 'Strictland Dump'. As a result of the constant burning of materials, a toxic gas is produced which stimulates hallucinations. The group sees Left Eye mumbling to himself and they split into teams, one to find the voice and the other to convince Left Eye to tell them the location of the bunker.

Left Eye was a man who studied fashion and design but was often disqualified from job applications due to his grotesque appearance. He was a warm person with a passion until he lost his daughter to a car crash. Left Eye was left in his grief and despair until he met the illusion of his daughter due to the toxic smoke emitted from the garbage dump. The group decided to lure him into a place where the gas was less toxic and came to the conclusion that they had to make him realise that what he was seeing was a hallucination.

Jongho got infected by the toxic gas and was hallucinating about a basketball game, while trying to find the girl's voice. Yeosang went into the cave worried about Jongho as the safety line attached to him stopped moving. Although when Yeosang arrived Jongho was running towards the edge of a cliff. Meanwhile, as the other group was trying to convince Left Eye, he started attacking the ATEEZers, hitting Yunho with a bat.

Fever Pt. 2 leaves us with a cliffhanger putting forth the possibility for a third part of this series. We now know that Hala-teez is from Strictland and rallied a whole resistance but where captured by the government and now they are after the Cromer for its great power. Hala-teez motives for giving ATEEZ the Cromer can stem from the fact that they want ATEEZ to break them out of prison or to make sure that the Cromer is far from the reaches of their government.

TREASURE : ZERO TO ONE

The next event is Say My Name and HALA HALA, SMN is the process of ATEEZ creating their identities looking forward to their new journey. SMN was the song which subjectively blew up, making ATEEZ known to a wider audience; figuring out their identity and making ATEEZ known to the industry. HALA HALA, on the other hand, is the introduction to Hala-teez (or the Suicide Squad, they call themselves “Suicide squad the reality”). They hide their faces to ATEEZ to hide the fact that they are the same. Hala-teez can be interpreted as many different things such as clones, ‘shadow self’, future-teez etc. and all of them can be correct.

But it is important to note and realise that ATEEZ’s journey is not only made up of physical events but is also an internal journey. At this point, ATEEZ are stil confined by the expectations of society as the events of ‘All to Zero’/ THANXX haven’t happened yet, also by how the sound of Inception (the song) is more catered to a specific audience (towards the current dark boy group trend), they haven’t found their individuality yet, haven’t yet established their sound as artists and identities in the storyline. This is also portrayed through the lyrics of Inception “I search for you like a maniac Then I wake. To find myself going around in circles again” they’re confused and don’t know how to act in this situation. This is a representation of the ‘shadow self’ making references to Carl Jung’s theory of identity expanding on how there is a particular part of the personality people don’t want to be seen by the outer world so they hide it and put on a mask aka the persona. Clone is a basic term for what Hala-teez are but they are more than just carbon copies of each other as they have different motives explored in their respective songs. Yeosang says “We don’t want no trouble, just moving forward’ (TREASURE: EP.2: Zero to One, Say My Name) and Mingi says “Will change, Just like the gods” (TREASURE: EP.2: Zero to One, HALA HALA).

ATEEZ just wants to go on their journey whereas Hala-teez wants to make a change as if they're gods. ATEEZ and Hala-teez’s motives essentially define the basics of their personality ATEEZ’s want to go on the journey without harming or having anything to do with others whereas Hala-teez wants to make a difference in the world whether it be for the better or worse, as long as it benefits them. These two entities have their flaws, presenting the fact that neither is good or bad rather two sides of the same coin their qualities complete each other. And the journey they take onwards is a process of realisation of this fact.

Yeosang has said to be an important part in the storyline as he is seen as the bearer of the key (to open the door of truth in 'WONDERLAND'). This can be reasoned in the dialogue of the track ‘Dear Diary: 2016.07.29’ is a direct parallel to 'Yeosang’s Time' in the Diary Film as displaying the line "Look at the stars in the night sky And become the person who shines bright like those stars" which connects to Yeosang’s concept photo for the Diary Film and Fanfic event saying “Adults said. Look up at the stars in the night sky. But, the stars did not shine in the night sky that I was looking at and I continued to walk looking down at the ground.” KQ said that those concept photos don’t relate to the storyline but the evidence provided shows otherwise.

Wooyoung realised a very important detail in SMN, Hala-teez aren’t entirely bad neither are they a force to be feared, but he has failed to convince the others about this fact. Wooyoung and Mingi team up due to the fact that they share the same concerns, but conform in secrecy to avoid suspicion from the rest of ATEEZ who are too fixed upon the misconception that Hala-teez is an evil force. Another important fact is that Seonghwa knows that Hala-teez looks like carbon copies of ATEEZ.

TREASURE : ALL TO ZERO + THANXX

THANXX is the main catalyst for the event which symbolises ATEEZ becoming free from the expectations of society and pursuing their treasure in their own way as presented in ‘My Way’ (“No matter what I’m going My Way”). This presents the possibility that THANXX happens at the same time as Pirate King and Treasure. Pirate King is the statement that they are going to find the treasure no matter what but also need ATINY by their side asking “Will you be my friend?”. On many occasions, ATEEZ specifically Seonghwa have called ATINY ‘stars’, referring to the lack of stars in the sky means how they don’t have a reason or drive to succeed as to find the treasure ATEEZ needs ATINY. This is also supported by the fact that the constellations in the sky show directions which sailors use to navigate seas. 'Treasure' supports that statement by adding “After two years, we’ll dominate the mass comm”. These are both from the perspective of ATEEZ and Hala-teez as their goal is the same though their methods of planning to acquire the treasure are different. A motif used to describe the treasure is a place, as in treasure “To a place no one can find, My treasure… Let’s leave to a far place, It calls to us, that treasure” (TREASURE EP.1: All to Zero, Treasure) and “You and me, under these burning lights, to the bright place” (TREASURE EP.1: All to Zero, Pirate King) the place they are referring to is the treasure. Pirate King, Treasure and THANXX all symbolise the start of ATEEZ’s and Hala-teez’s journey as both go from ALL to ZERO.

TREASURE : ONE TO ALL

Since Hala-teez knows that ATEEZ are also carbon copies of them, they exploit this advantage by trapping in a dream, with the hourglass. During ‘One to All’, Hala-teez exploit ATEEZ’s weakness and eagerness in finding the Treasure to trap them in a dream, where the events of 'Illusion' take place. ATEEZ are oblivious to this as they exploit their newfound freedom in the dream. Multiple signs of Hala-teez can be seen such as their mask and a figure who resemble the outfit of Hala-teez in the MV.

Just as ATEEZ are about to find the treasure they snap out of the dream. Another fact present is that during the Wave MV all the members are seen waking up except Wooyoung leading to the possibility that he awoke them. Seonghwa questions the ‘Illusion’ in the line “Where am I? Who are you?” which is quickly brushed off by Hongjoong who is eager in finding the treasure that he is taken over by his ambition at that moment preventing him from listening to reason. They are on a Pirate ship calling them back to the ‘Pirate’ motif but also making a reference to Peter Pan where they travel to Neverland but they aren’t playing as Pan as they say in Wonderland “Immature forever like Peter”, they play as the Pirates the group consumed by the ambition as Hala-teez search to find the unknown treasure. One thing ATEEZ and Hala-teez have in common is the ambition and desire for the Treasure, they are both unaware of what it is but they know they want it. 'WAVE' is a song about overcoming the wave of difficulties in life. ATEEZ must overcome this set back so they prepare to venture into WONDERLAND, what they think is the treasure, but becoming the subject to their ambition and passion rather using it as an asset in searching for the treasure.

TREASURE : ALL TO ACTION

Wonderland is a place of disharmony and the origin of Hala-teez “Heart that beats strongly pump it up” (TREASURE Ep. Fin: All To Action, WONDERLAND) representing the presence of Hala-teez. When ATEEZ reached WONDERLAND it’s not how they expected it to be. ATEEZ perceived what they thought as the treasure to be a Utopia, as said in the song Utopia “All of my life, I was searching. It looks like it’s In the clouds, the Hidden treasure” (TREASURE Ep.3: One to All, WONDERLAND). WONDERLAND is the home of Hala-teez, which they see as a Utopia but is a dystopia to ATEEZ as they are unable to exist in this environment. But Wonderland isn’t the real treasure and Hala-teez are preventing ATEEZ from reaching it.

Hala-teez and ATEEZ fought in an internal and physical battle for the treasure. Chaos ensues as (HALA)Seonghwa seems to chase (HALA)Yeosang through a tunnel but it is unclear who is who as in WONDERLAND everything is chaos. Another event that happens is (HALA)Wooyoung being chained up due to being found out about his supposed betrayal and being saved by (HALA)Mingi as they are accomplices. But since ATEEZ and Hala-teez are two sides of the same coin we can presume the characters portrayed are a combination of ATEEZ and Hala-teez. As mentioned before Yeosang has the key to the door of truth, “Okay, the door for truth is opening, in front of there” (TREASURE Ep.Fin: All To Action, WONDERLAND) from WONDERLAND to the true treasure.

This also refers to the ‘light’ in the song Dazzling Light, the lyrics “I’m gonna find the answer, too much darkness” and “ I can see Bright light shine here Better”. This symbolises overcoming the darkness which is portrayed as the events of Wonderland and the transition to Answer. The theme of ‘light’ is used as a motif as it is also apparent in the song Mist “Of light on the street, walk on a fearful night” using the street as a metaphor and the song in the second album Light. This is also evident in the song WIN “Get on up we gon’ lit Light it up, Move to the edge of the horizon, let’s fly together” another motif is the mention of the horizon which is apparent in Wave and Horizon. The Horizon portrays the Treasure as something unreachable. Overall this album portrays the fight for the treasure between ATEEZ and Hala-teez displayed by the evidence provided.

TREASURE : ACTION TO ANSWER

ANSWER is the point where ATEEZ and HALA-teez realize that they must coexist and in the lyrics “I got the answer” where they say they have found the answer to what the true treasure is. The events of Answer is what is behind the door of truth as seen in Wonderland and displays the compromise between ATEEZ and Hala-teez and judging by the opening lyrics of “Geonbaehaja like a thunder” (TREASURE EPILOGUE: Action to Answer, Answer) they want everyone to hear their success as finally finding out who they are but also establishing their place in the Kpop industry as artists. They want to show that they aren't afraid of each other anymore. The song also pays homage to their past songs in the lines “Shouting out that the end means the beginning Remember we were together from the tip of the toe, say my name” symbolising Wonderland how the merging of the two sides is the beginning of the end (also referring to the outro of the previous album) and Say my Name by mentioning its in the lyrics. Also evident in the line “The desert, With nothing… we started here” referring to Pirate King/ Treasure which were filmed in the desert where they started with nothing. They even go ahead and reference future comebacks in the line “As like tomorrow is the end of the world, Maintain this Fever”.

An additional theory is a possibility that the TREASURE series is the dream sequences as introduced in Inception, though both theories can co-exist as the TREASURE Series fits into both

At this point, the White dressed man with the mask is still a mystery but the story isn’t over but until now ATEEZ's Universe has explored the conflict between ATEEZ and Hala-teez. The archetype’s used to portray the behaviours of Hala-teez and ATEEZ lead to the fact that both entities aren’t entirely a representation of Good vs. Evil. As foreshadowed in Intro: Long Journey and in Outro: Long Journey where the boys reflect on their success while also looking forward to future events. But through this journey they found out that the true treasure is the bond between ATEEZ and Hala-teez.

Notes from 'Fireworks':

this world in plagued by a gas that drains people of emotion. The lines 'We’re far from the wannabes' and 'others just chirp, look at these drunk fools' refers to those affected by the toxic gas.

In this album we finally know what the white masked person is. They are actually called

Another point important to add is the fact that this treasure they keep on talking about may not actually be something unkown but rather ATEEZ longing to go back home. This is heavily evident in 'Take Me Home' but maybe realising the only way to go back home is to unify the 8 dimentions.

ATEEZ's use of fire has been to symbolise the presence of Hala-teez and their passion and ambition, although Hala-teez is never seen or mentioned in 'Fireworks'
'Drunk but not drunk' signifies that ATEEZ are their high but they are conscious and know what they are doing unlike someone who is intoxicated by the gas
'Bulnoriya' translates to both 'Fireworks' and 'Playing with fire/ fireplay' (both conveying the same connotation). Fireworks are beautiful from a distance but if you get close to them and/or misuse them, it could burn you. ATEEZ are playing upon this concept as they are playing as the fireworks themselves.
The landscape displays dystopian themes such as destroyed buildings and an arid desert, including the train station (hideout thing). This MV in heavily reminiscent of HALA HALA but also during some of the scenes (esp. Joong's scenes) there is blue lighting also referring to HALA HALA (as the song/mv starts off softly and gradually gets more intense and the MV has fairly cold lighting until the end where everything turns red)
Since this is directly after Fever Pt.1 and before SMN we can assume this is another dimention; not 'WONDERLAND' (Hala-teez's home). MADDOX's soliloquy 'the fiery voices' refers to the song 'fireworks'. The people of their land hoped that ATEEZ could make their home a better place for them and they succeded. This is why Fireworks as a song sounds so celebratory as if its a song you'd hear at a festival or when some victorious happens.
Back in inception, Mingi and Hongjoong were facing each other at the end signifying that Inception left us with a cliff hanger. I don't want to say that Mingi's absence was intentional but maybe Mingi accepted Hongjoong offer but secretly sided with Hala-teez and communicated with them through the radio
SMN could actually be some sort of a 'limbo' where it's located in between the 8 dimentions. Looking back to SMN it's clear the painting is a reference to Strickland (but it could also be portal??)

(PREDICTION) EDEN himself said that ATEEZ’s Universe is HUGE and the fact that ‘Inception is the first event in the timeline leads me to believe that there are more version of ATEEZ, specifically 8 versions. We’ve seen Hala-teez and ATEEZ but there may be more.

Utopia vs Precious vs Treasure:
Hi ;-;

I was thinking about how Treasure and Precious as songs were connected and told both the start and end of the ‘Treasure Series’ but also dwelled upon the theory that Utopia could also be related to Precious. All songs are about reaching a certain place characterised as a utopia, a treasure, something precious through these three songs. It’s still not clear what the treasure is to ATEEZ as a group but the best bet is being successful as idols “Put your success on this canvas, pop pop pop… After two years, we’ll dominate the mass comm” (Lyrics from ‘Treasure”).

Though the lyrics from Utopia “All of my life, I was searching. It looks like [it’s] in the clouds… Hidden treasure Where we are not dreams” relates directly to ‘Treasure” and coveys the fact that this place is hidden somewhere in the clouds, a metaphor for a place which is unreachable. Many say that Precious and Treasure are two sides of the same coin as they perfectly mirror the beginning and the end of the journey which is the ‘Treasure Series’ but I’d rather say that Precious and Utopia are connected through Hala-teez and ATEEZ.

‘Precious’ explores the idea of ambition and the infinite time loop ATEEZ endure during the storyline, and how every time they reach the treasure they become obsessed with the idea of it, losing sight of moral goodness (aka Hala-teez). This is apparent in the line “At last, we found the Treasure. Our hands are full of Treasure. Everybody is enjoying the Pleasure. We have to find it again it’s Crazy” this line is sung by Hongjoong in the same melody accompanied by a similar instrumental as at the start of “Treasure” clearly showing the parallels (“The shining treasure over there. It’s beckoning to you, that treasure.

Everyone’s chasing after pleasure. Going more and more blind, crazy”). But something that is commonly overlooked in ‘Precious’ is the line “Sometimes, I get scared too (every day, every night)” the ‘every day, every night’ relating to ‘Utopia’ conveying the fact they are two sides of the same coin.

‘Precious’ and ‘Treasure’ display the beginning of the end, however, ‘Precious’ and ‘Utopia’ convey the dichotomy between Hala-teez and ATEEZ. ‘Utopia’ of the perspective of ATEEZ whereas ‘Precious’ is from the view of Hala-teez.

TFMA:

We see Hongjoong start with his solo (idk Korean so I’m just interpreting what he’s saying) he saying things like “I’m feeling like a god, feeling like I’m lost.” He first states he’s feeling like a god but follows up saying he’s lost. these conflicting feeling reference inception which is a song portraying multiple emotions and the fact that Hongjoong says he’s lost refers to when he’s stuck in the void at the end of Inception

Another reference to inception in the lyric “dream in a dream” and at the end of his rap he gets dragged away. Did he wake up? Yes, but we also hear a beeping sound personally I think it’s a hospital monitor but why is he in the hospital though?

Maybe because he’s stuck in the void meaning his physical body is unconscious leading to the possibility he may be in a c*ma cuz he’s been asleep for so long. He asks himself “Am I dreaming” then Inception starts

I’m not quite sure abt this theory but this may relate to the fact that Hongjoong contacts the other ATEEZ members through the hourglass in their dreams as seen in the diary film

Kingdom:

TBZ: Zeus
SKZ: Ares
ATZ: Hades

THE BOYZ! symbolise the current kings as depicted by their stage props and attire and their win at Rtk they are determined to keep the throne, they have weapons n sht and seem like their occupied with fighting Skz Rn and conveyed during the Triangular Fight. A soft yet dramatic piano piece plays as Juyeon dances gracefully until Hyunjin joins the battle the track morphing in to a battle anthem. they continue fighting until San joins the picture, he smirk like he know something they don’t but they continue.

Notice how the VCR show both skz and tbz’ name but not Atz. It’s to show how ATEEZ join the fight late to seem unsuspecting to the others Juyeon and Hyunjin are occupied with each other barely noticing San joined the fray (all going accordingly to ATEEZ’ plan).

SKZ! They represent Ares, god of war, while the boys depict the gods and ATEEZ the underworld, Skz are the mortal fitted with weapons singing a song of victory (quite literally) Chan shouts “prepare for glory”.

What I find strange is the fact that Felix fights his own men. Who’s side is he on? Maybe SKZ and ATZ sided with each other to defeat THE BOYZ??? Anyway Hyunjin claims the crown from THE BOYZ at the end assuming they won the battle against them but as we know it’s not over.

ATEEZ! their plan was to go for the throne all along seeing the crown as a mere aesthetic and as pirates do they don’t play by the rules. ATEEZ,’ was most likely to side with Skz and let them get the crown but join the battle later on to not look suspicious, but betraying skz by taking the throne. They didn’t have any weapons; only flags marking the stage as their territory. Wooyoung seem to control the back up dancers but is holding chains. He’s also seen with chains in WONDERLAND.

What if Wooyoung was never changed cuz he betrayed ATEEZ but rather he was dangerous. If we relate this to the Greek mythology concept of the stage Wooyoung would represent Cerberus unleaded when the time is right.

In conclusion ATEEZ may have won this round but we gonna have wait until kingdom to see who keeps the throne. (I really don’t know what going on)
